The event will take place on November 20th within the framework of the Regional Meeting for the Americas of the Open Government Partnership in Buenos Aires, Argentina
The Open Government Partnership (OGP) is a platform that aims for governments to work together with multiple stakeholders in public policy management and projects for transparency, citizen participation, civic collaboration and accountability, while using technology as a leverage for transformation and impact. To date, a total of 18 countries of the Americas are part of the OGP. The Regional Meeting of the Americas 2017 will bring together more than 2,000 representatives from governments, civil society, digital innovators, developers, journalists and researchers in Buenos Aires to share experiences and drive forward the Open Government agenda based on current regional challenges.

Ministro Pistarini International Airport, known as Ezeiza International Airport, is located in the town of Ezeiza,35 km (over 21 miles) southwest of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Jorge Newbery Metropolitan Aeropark is the airport of national and regional traffic located in the City of Buenos Aires, in the neighborhood of Palermo. The service between the airports of Ezeiza and the Aeropark or vice versa is provided by companies that will also take you to the center of the city.
The Retiro Bus Terminal Station is the main bus terminal in the city of Buenos Aires, and the largest in Argentina. It is located 300 m from the Retiro Railway Station. Buses from and to all the zones of the country arrive and leave from this station. There are regular services to and from various destinations in the continent, mainly Montevideo, Santiago de Chile, Lima, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Asuncion, Foz de Iguazú, Porto Alegre and São Paulo.
You can request a taxi or rent a car at companies that offer service inside the airport and the Bus Terminal. From the airport to the center of city, prices range from 30 to 40 USD. The official and safe taxis are identified with black and yellow colors (white at the airport). The customer will be charged with the use of a clock -taximeter- based on an official rate.
