Strengthening the Innovative Entrepreneurship

Colombia
Project under implementation

Description

Strengthening the Innovative Entrepreneurship is a social intervention project focused on promoting microenterprises and potential entrepreneurial ideas in disadvantaged communities. The Trust for the Americas, in partnership with Cemex, will execute the project in the municipality of Maceo and the district of La Susana in Antioquia, Colombia. Building on the successful implementation of this model in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, Strengthening the Innovative Entrepreneurship will be based on a blended learning approach, combining in-person training sessions with virtual modules. The combination of training and personalized mentorship will empower entrepreneurs to improve their business vision and business skills using various tools for business model development, leveraging social media for sales growth, mastering financial management, and perfecting communication skills to effectively present their business model and value proposition.

Project purpose

Strengthening the Innovative Entrepreneurship aims to empower female entrepreneurs through the development of technological and business skills.
